@Cmyles and Calvin: Thanks for the comments. I can safely say the clutch is not slipping and the front and passenger side engine mounts were replaced several years ago along with a clutch and slave replacement. Also, there are no unusual noises, rattling or vibrations. The transmission shifts very well, no grinding or popping out of gear at any time, does not leak and has been running Honda MTF for many years which stays remarkably clean. I do not drive it hard but do drive it regularly including occasional long 1500mi mountainous trips without any problems. As the only driver with substantial time and miles, I am very attentive to the sounds and behavior which is why I posted here. I will have a look at the primary drive chain and try the diagnostic checks suggested. Thanks!
