Hello BobD: Thanks for the suggestions. I’m think if it was an axle issue I would detect some noise or vibration. Clutch master is an interesting thought but overall the clutch operation is quite solid and smooth. What I’m feeling is an occasional, not consistent, very slight delay while starting to release the clutch as though something in the drivetrain has to turn a few degrees, if even that far, before turning the wheels from a dead stop. Nothing otherwise in shifting to other gears, etc. My guess is slack in the drive chain could cause this but Cmyles suggestion about the pinion lifting could also be the cause.
