You can also troubleshoot a fuel pressure issue by jumping the fuel pressure relay at the fuse box. Jump from fuse position 27 to 30. Jumping the relay to run the pump for 20 or 30 seconds pressurizes the rail. Put the fuses back in and try to start the car. If it starts right up, that can indicate you have pressure bleeding off.

My (limited) experience with warm start issues has been always been a CPS that is on its way out. The engine heat soaks the CPS when shut off after being run for a while. Once the engine cools down, then the CPS behaves normally. That’s also why cold starts are not problematic.
