Just finished the pads and rotors and greased the sliding points on the yokes on my 87, (Pre 88 front handbrake style calipers with vented rotors), following the Bentley manual. Brakes are bled, no leaks.

I've been driving it for about a week now and I'm noticing that the wheels are getting quite hot after coming down some hills we have in the area. Hot enough that I can't keep my hand on them for long. The temperature is the same on both sides. They are also warm after normal driving but I can keep my hand on the rim without it feeling too hot.

Handbrake engages at 8 clicks and holds the car firm on hills.

When the front is jacked up I can spin the wheel for about 3/4 of a turn when the handbrake is off before it comes to a stop, without too much effort. (I know thats subjective!).

Is this normal for these brakes? What's confusing is they are behaving the same on both sides.
