Hey all,

Having a weird problem, the clutch slave somehow got jammed in the full extended position years ago and I was unable to get it to let loose. I ended up cutting it off and purchased a replacement recently, however the slave will not seat in its circle home. I tried fitting the new slave cylinder in a spare transmission I have and it seated without issue.

Any thoughts on what the heck may be going on here? I had crazy thoughts of maybe the bearing "drive" shaft fits through having pushed out like a hernia and even did some gentle prying on the cylinder to see if any changes but nada.


I have never seen an issue like the slave jamming extended or being unable to install a new one, I feel like I am going insane. Help!!!!????
