Trying to mod a trionic car is tricky - I assume the trionic will override at some point. I'll leave the discussion of such mods to others.
In terms of turbo timer - I assume you mean something similar to the aftermarket units that keep oil flow after the engine is shut down.
Answer - no - Saab doesn't have a turbo timer as stock, and frankly, I don't think it needs it. Saab has had a water jacketed turbo since '87, and the water jacket keeps temps down, which helps prevent oil coking. Frankly, before '87, the non-water jacketed turbo was quite robust; water jacketing made something very good much better.
I rarely see turbo problems, less so with the more recent ones. I expect the turbo to last the life of the car, well over 200K. I wouldn't sweat a turbo timer.
