I agree...my boost was perhaps a bit on the harsh side. But I still believe that software is the way to go. Admittedly there are differences in terms of accessibility when comparing Sweden and the US... At least as far as Saabs go. I can drive down to MapTun, 110 miles...and yes, I have the numbers right this time :-) and have my Trionic remapped for petty cash compared to having to ship ECUs across the Atlantic.
But my opinion still remains that a 9000 Aero equipped with a nice 3" exhaust all the way incl. 3" free-flow cat, modified airbox or open filter and a good Stage 3 software will outrun many a more distinguished sports sedan at more or less all speeds (except standing start maybe) while still retaining all factory safety systems, surpassing all existing smog/emissions tests, maintain or improve on stock gas mileage and carry 4 adults in high comfort.
