C'mon .. obviously yer car has served you well, as would any seriously maintained machine, but as Much as I love my old Saab (since it was new in '84).. I have NO illusions about it's durability/ reliability.. and I prolly maintain mine it more fastiduously than you do yours.. things just simply break of their own volition.. without rhyme or reason... not a big deal for me, or for you...Things happen :-)
BUT 9ks have a well earned reputation for being 'spotty' and to suggest putting my 'old man' in one is simply a joke.. I put my Dad inna Nissan Altima recently.... cheap, crappy, yes, but it came with a 7!! year no questions asked warrantee.. and guess what? I was using it today (to try and put some miles on it, before the darn thing siezes) and even it, IS quicker than my Son's '87 9kT with it's recently 'readjusted' boost running at 14 PSI!? Saabs are wonderfull fun toys for a couple of Grand or so, but IMHO they are seriously outclassed by most curent production Automobiles.
