and look for a bypass diode to guard the darlington zitter. Look here too: http://www.quasimotors.com/fan_ctllr_heatsink_grease.htm which is Quasi's site photo of the board. I can't tell if there is a flyback diode on circuit. If not look at the specs for the transistor and look at the board to tell how the current should flow. Neg should be on the ground wire and positive side of the transistor will go to the source which is blk lead from motor.
