I was doing my ball joints and saw that my inner cv boot was totally ripped and that tons of dirt got into the driver and bearings and the bearings were all dirty...as a temporary measure i cleaned the bearings and driver with gas and then PUMPED it FULL of lithium grease to the point that it was disgusting. I then took the remaining boot and patched it up with a bunch of duct tape. That lasted until my new bearings and boot came in a few weeks later.
