Great bulletin board....I'm a first timer !!! Anyway, just read Eric H's comments (I think he currently owns a '92 9000 Turbo) and I'm in the market for a pre-owned SAAB. Used to own an '87 900 --- very easy to maintain. Am looking at 9000s and I've heard horror stories about the traction control problems(TCS). Don't mean to sound too naive, but, how do you know if the car has TCS or not. I've heard some sellers not disclosing it. Also heard that 96-97-98 model years are more desirable (and the 1994s being one of the worst) However, I'm torn between TURBO and non-turbo because I heard they're pretty expensive to replace. Would appreciate any comments on this. As a sidelight, I saw a 1993 9000 CSE(non turbo) on a dealer's lot and it had 129K asking $4,995. I hesitated because it was an older model. I'd still stick with my 96-97-98 search. Would appreaciate all your comments/input/insights. Many Thanks.
