Disconnecting TCS computer

I've been having so much trouble with the TCS system and I don't know where to take it from here. I've read some people fixing it by cleaning the TB, others by cleaning or replacing the safety valve (which I am not sure where it is. I looked at the firewall and there is nothing that looks like a valve to me). Anyway, if I disconnect the TCS computer will the car still run, will I have problems. Thanks for your help.
