Yes it's a 5spd.
Install take about 1-2 hours.
The way you laid it out is correct.
When the system was off, the car began moving forward. Both wheels were spinning faster than the car was moving but the car continued to make progress. I modulated the throttle to keep the wheel spin in check and keep the car moving.
Allowing the wheels to spin, let the car get up the hill.
The TCS light does come on when push the button.
The car lays power pretty evenly with tcs OFF>
When I first installed I went out and laid down a few burn outs (hey it's been almost 3.5 years of TCS) and the lines were very even and solid, even on a not so flat surface.
