A stock CSE shouldn't go into the red area, although the stock gauge is mostly just for entertainment.

What's likely happened is due to all your overboosting, the ECU has gone to maximum negative adaption in an attempt to restrict boost with your broken BPC valve.

You need to do some adaption runs to let the ECU figure out that you've fixed the valve. Put on a calibrated boost gauge temporarily so you can see what boost you are really getting. Also check your base boost. You can hasten adaption in a positive direction by unplugging the BPC and driving a bit; the ECU will just see base boost and try to increase the boost.
