Yeah I wonder sometimes. It's the only Saab garage around but I actually have another mechanic I take my other cars, they are not the cheapest but then I never had them screw anything up and they did what they said they would do no more no less.
Re the aircraft grade hose that's what I'd like to do, and get rid of the problem. It's that piece that goes from the master to about a foot or so from the slave that's where it connects (screw-type connector) into another steel line.
Yeah once when they changed my oil I took up a 5-qt container and they put in 5 quarts, I asked why and they said 'that's what you brought' - it was way over max and in my thinking that's not good, obviously I took some out. I told them 'so if I brought up 5 wheels you'd try to find a way to fit the fifth one on?'. Anyways that was a temp guy or something so I thought give them another chance. I guess at this point I'm about done with them except to sign off on the maintenance book.
I'm tending towards doing the work myself as first it doesn't look that bad a job and second the car would have to be trucked to a shop and that means winching it up a flatbed and with my luck they would rip off the front spoiler or some such idiocy.
Thanks for your reply and no you didn't get over-angry.
