The 86 has lost it's zip

Hello, It was time for a tuneup on the 86. Changed the oil, new plugs gapped at .25, cap/rotor and cleaned the TB. Wouldn't you know it I mixed up the plug wires. I got the wires sorted out I think and started the car.
It seems to run like it is being choked and runs like a tractor. There is no zip through the gears, no passing power, I lose speed up the smallest hills and gas use has increased. I was passed up this long uphill by a Ford Focus :-(. The cracks in the flexpipe are louder and car has a bad feel.
Since I mixed up the plugs wires I want to start there. Who will be kind to give me the way they are positioned on the cap? Another possibility is that I used CRC Carb cleaner and not TB cleaner on the throttle body. I know I'm reaching here but could the cat become clogged by using the wrong cleaner. This would explain the choking and the louder exhause note out the cracks.
Thanks for any help?
Brian
