That my friend is one big subwoofer. Whole lotta power running through that car; people definitely will hear you coming down the road.
I'm thinking of running Focal 6X9's in the rear, Focal 4" in the front and some sort of bass tube so I don't eliminate my trunk (I ski so I need a trunk). Haven't thought much about power yet, but I think I'm going to change the stock headunit to a Nakamichi CD-400 (I do like a stock look, but the Nak is very understated). I'm not going to go to crazy because you couldn't be more right about getting everything tuned correctly in a car. Much easier (though still a neat trick) in a room in a house, but seating position, shape of room, vaulted ceilings etc. definitely complicate the task.
BTW, I'm in Forest Hills, NY (Queens). Heard a car thumpin' by a few minutes ago and thought about your 9000, but quickly dismissed it as not enough bass!!
