Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the thoughts. I am going to try Noel's idea of trying to release it with my fingers. I'ts seems pretty easy to get your hands under there but I haven't tried much through the strap hole.
The left side (small seat) is the one that is broken.
My family can quite easily fill up the car whether traveling or just hauling junk. It's also important for me to get it up because I just replaced my headliner and right side rear panel. I can't replace the left side because I can't unscrew the bottom of the left side seatbelt. Right now I just have bare metal where my left side panel goes. It would look much better with the panel on. :-0
Prying it will be my last resort so keep the ideas coming. I'm all ears.
