So there I was, in my lovely '93 Aero, just a smilin and a drivin',
and I got to an interstate on ramp - you gotta love those when you
drive an Aero, and this was my very first one after buying the car
(Yes, I *test* drove it on the highway without faults..), so I was
prepared to enjoy it fully right then....here we go.....1/2 way up
the ramp - TCS CUTS IN ON DRY ^$*%$^%*^ PAVEMENT !!!
THEN TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY (It musta known it screwed up), IT
DROPPED INTO LIMP HOME MODE A SECOND LATER !!!!!!!
What acceleration ? Where ? Noplace - that sucked like a hoover.
About a $1000 later I had a refurb'd throttle body and no more
limping home for a -while- anyways.
I maintain my position firmly, after owning 2 TCS cars - it's a
BAD idea to buy a TCS equipped car, no doubts at all in my mind.
There, that's my 2 cents, summed up, again.
