My '96 CSE has averaged about $100/mo, but that includes nothing at all for several months, then a heater core & blower, or an exhaust. It's a used car. stuff wears out.

Any car, unless you only keep it until the warranty ends, is going to cost you money for parts. You don't say what your mileage is, but if you're up around 100K, stuff is gonna need replacing on any car.

You also hit maintenance cycles. The 95 I just bought is hitting a maintenance cycle and needs several things done at once. So that will be a spike in parts and my time, but when you average it out over time it's not so bad.

Even if you factor in big repairs, it's a lot cheaper than payments on an equivalent new car. Or even an average car these days.
