Must be the 88s are on some common cosmic calendar. Just got mine back on the road Wed night after the clutch transmission bearing job, and it has been balky until it gets up to operating temperature. If you took yours for a drive, it must have gotten up to temp, but in case it didn't you ought to let it get used to running again if you've double checked anything you might have misplaced while it was down. The ticking could be the FPR or a lifter.
