There are always lots of parts moving around in a transmission. If the car drives, drive it until the oilis hot and drain it, and possibly flush it with lots of diesel fuel to see what bebris to can flush out. It may give you aq clue. In ay event to will have to take the tranny out abd splitting it is very easy. Then you can see the damage and meake an informed decision. Right now you ask us to form an opinion without being informed.
