How to avoid another disaster? Would a big downpipe... help keep the exhaust valves cooler(suggested by AndyJ)? I'm trying to do what I can to prevent a recurrence. The injectors are on their way to being blue printed at Marren Injector (http://www.injector.com/), similar to the place suggested by Urby but closer, just in case it was a bad spray pattern. Marren suggested that a test then be done at load to ensure that adequate fuel pressure is maintained at the rail. The local Saab experts have observed that this is a rare failure in Saabs. It was cool that morning, so lots of boost was available and I was on cruise control, thus not sure how much throttle was being applied. It wasn't straining but running great until it suddenly lost power with no warning. I always use 93 Octane fuel. Anything else I could do to avoid this happening again??? Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread.
