at least then I'd know what was going on. But as I said, the flap is there. I took off the downpipe, and watched the flap open and close as I applied pressure to the actuator. And if it was stuck open, surely I couldn't ever get up to 12PSI as I can. Everything points to a leak somewhere, but I can't find one.
Is it possible for the bearings to be bad, even though they spin freely by hand? I'm grasping at straws here, but maybe at higher speed they start to bind.
