I think gut feel is a pretty good indicator when looking at used cars. When it's being sold by a dealer you can't get to meet the PO and find out what kind of person they are (when I bought my 900 convertible it was from an obsessive German guy who had even replaced the power window switches because the decals on them had worn off - a good sign I figured). But you can see how they took care of the car and with everything you mention it sounds like they really did look after it. Of course at 155k anything could go wrong however well it's been looked after. I think as long as you are mentally prepared to potentially have to sink another $1k or so into the car for unforeseen issues (DI, clutch, whatever) it sounds like it could be a good buy.
That's my 2cents - and that's about what my thoughts are worth :-)
