If you can break the sliding T-handle, I'd have to say I'm impressed.
I got a Craftsman 3/4" drive one with the requisite 1-1/4" socket, and along with the large diameter aluminum jack handle from my Sears jack, took it off without so much as a grunt.
Before that, I broke my 1/2" breaker bar, hammered away haplessly with my Ingersoll Rand IR-2131 impact wrench, presumably with 600 ft-lbs of reverse torque.

I'd really be reluctant to start cutting or drilling into the nut while there are still perfectly good flats to be had on the nut. That's a last ditch effort for the point after you're able to strip the nut with a 6 point socket.

I'd get a second person to hold the wheel immobile by standing on the brakes while in neutral, to make sure you're not stressing the transmission. I didn't have a helpful person handy, so I used a big rubber aircraft wheel chock, which the wheel started climbing up, but held enough for the nut to break loose.

If for some reason you just can't muster up enough force to break it loose, you could always use a hydraulic jack under the handle and use the weight of the car to your advantage. Just pad it well to spread out the force as much as possible; I have a bunch of cut up tire pads for general jacking-up use, which works well.
