e what to do:
EXHAUST: parts should be around $200 if it's from the cat back for both mufflers, $60 install at a local muffler shop, if you can't DIY - depends on rust. You might be able to find and patch leak, or have a muffler shop weld it (I've done that) for $15 to pass inspection
ROTORS and REAR BRAKES: What specifically is wrong. I don't recall ever having my rotors checked. The brakes, handrake especially, either works or it doesn't.
I would take it for inspection and see what fails, after you fix the exhaust leak one way or the other, if it is leaking.
As far as not lasting a year, if there's nothing wrong with the car, and it's running fine, why can't it last 30 years? If something breaks, you fix it...
