i'll have to check the ac fan, it isn't rad fan, the noise is there as soon as the car starts up, isn't noticeable after 1200 - 1500 rpm, or while the car is moving, only noticeable at idle...

concurrent development with increased vibration at idle.

as soon as i turn the key off, i hear the engine come to a stop, and the last thing i hear is maybe 3 - 6 repetitions of this noise...

it happens each time i turn the car off. i can restart, and then turn it off and i hear it. it's a solid sound, not electrical, not a tap, like lifter, and there's hardly any timing chain noise...
