can improper offset affect vibration? my point was that the wheel bolts center the wheel. unless you have the old-school Cragars with the flat bolts and slotted holes, the bolts provide all the centering you'll get.
some cars are incredibly prone to vibration. sometimes taking the wheel off and rotating it a hole or two (assuming you don't have the locating pins like stock) can cure a case of the shakes. sometimes you need to clean and lightly lube the mounting surface. always you should start all the bolts or nuts, then snug them all, then torque them in a criss-cross pattern.
