I'd love to get a nice JT 3" DP, cat and full exhaust on my 9000 (like the package from GenuineSaab.com), but I have read so many posts about people having problems after switching.
I have a 98 (with 2 o2 sensors) and it seems that people with earlier cars (those with 1 sensor) have less problems.
I wish I could be guaranteed of not having problems after I install a 3" DP, but who can guarantee me that? I'm not that much of a mechanic, so after I spend $1200 or so for a new full exhaust system and DP plus a new ECU, and after having my local mechanic install the stuff for a couple hundred more, I don't think I would be able to stand it not working correctly with a CEL.
I have read some posts where people use a "spark plug anti-fouler" to try to correct this. (The cheap "HELP" brand from a local parts store is what they use...probably just a few bucks). These seems to move the o2 sensor out of the stream of hot gasses. Seems to work for some Honda guys as well.
Let us know how you make out. I'm curious to see if you go with the anti-fouler if it really works.
