TML lets check to see what the ECU is seeing before you chase your tail any further.
4 wire heated 02 sensors have one wire than will have batt 12+ volts with the car running. Two wires should have 0.02v or less if the grounds are good. One ground wire is for the heater and the other is for the sensor signal itself. The last wire is the one the ECU is monitoring this wire should produce a nice clean wave pattern above and below .5v. If the ECU is not recieving the signal (voltage) it expects to see under a given conditon once the car is in closed loop it will set a CE light.
Use a DVOM (digital volt ohm meter) write down the wire colors then the voltage values you get. Remember KOER (key on engine running) To make your findings accurate place the black lead of the DVOM on the neg side of the battery then use red lead to back probe each wire at the front 02 sensor. Let us know your findings.
