Check all of the vacuum lines, and then check them again. About 95% of the time a Saab goes from running ok to running weird it's a vacuum leak.
I had the line on the underside of the intake plenum come off and threw a CEL too. Cound not see it at night. By light of day there is was. All fixed now and the CEL went off.
My 18yo Son diagnosed a vacuum line just last week. It looked ok at first glance, but upon further inspection it was splitting and caused a leak. Silicon hose too! Didn't know that was possible.
