I placed a post similar to this just weeks ago and a member replied that had the Exaltos on his '93 9000 and he was very pleased with them in the rain and dry surfaces. He had not had them in snow yet, but he had 10k miles on them. Most people would know if they disliked a tire by then.
I can get the Exaltos for $129 each minus $50 rebate and minus $30 coupon at Discount tire = $436. That is reasonable for a tire of unquestioned quality, High Performance A/S rating, AND a 45,000 mile warranty. Because I drive mostly highway, I would expect to get about 80 to 90,000 miles on them. Believe it - I have 75,000 miles on Michelin MXV4 Plus XSE's now (no mileage warranty when new) and they were on the car when I bought it! There are Exalto users on TireRack and Discount Tire websites that said the Exalto was much better than the MXV4 in rain and snow and these people had high mileage on them. I'm going with a good name that has shown to have consistent quality and longevity.
