First - automatic or manual tranny?
Second - which mounts did you replace - both lowers and both uppers, just the uppers, etc.
Third - what source for the mounts. For the lowers, did you go with stock hydraulic, or solid mounts? For the uppers, did you go stock rubber, or aftermarket poly?
Fourth - if the upper mounts were changed - how are the bushings oriented? If you look at the stock rubber upper mounts, there is a rubber center connected to the outside via two 'ribs'. There are two open areas. Ideally, the open areas should be front and back, and the ribs should be up and down for the front mount, and side to side on the rear mount. Huh? Basically, the upper mounts are more compliant in one direction than the other. You get the most movement, and therefore the most damping if the vibration is in the direction of the openings in the mounts. Most engine vibration is front-to-back, so you want to line up the openings in that direction.
Each engine is different, and some vibrate more than others. If you went to solid lower mounts or poly upper mounts, those transmit more vibration than stock hydraulic lowers/rubber uppers. If your engine is a little more prone to vibration, staying stock can only help. It is my impression that the aftermarket upper mount inserts are harder plastic, and transmit more vibration.
