On my 97 9K I had to get a new fuel pump last week after it dying conveniently at a stop sign in rush hour. It was 12 degrees and windy. That was the last straw. In the last month I also replaced the water pump. In the last three months I have had a bugger of a time figuring out my door locks but seem to have them fixed. I had to do governor seals in the tranny. Thanks erikkson. My radio died. Of course I love my new Alpine with xm, ipod controls etc.
But everytime I get it fixed I fall in love with it again. I love driving it and that is the bottom line. I love the hatchback. The design is timeless and no one that is not a Saaber has any idea what year it is from. If I dumped mine I would probably just get a used 9K anyway. They just seem to have a soul.
