Anyone can be a super good mechanic (specialized with Saab) but without the Tech 2 scanner (or the older ISAT) and the knowledge to look at the data and calibrate the system, it is of no help when it comes down the TCS problems on the 9000 cars.
Yes, it might come down to that a computer is bad and not willing to communicate, but that is certainly not the first option to look at.
As others are pointing out, if you are not very well versed in car repairs and electronics, you should not even think along the lines of trying to defeat the TCS system.
I for sure would never embark on such a project even if someone paid for every hour I would spend, and believe me, it would be lots of hours which would get close to or more than the value of the car.
I could certainly take a look at the car, but can't promise anything until after an hour or so of fault tracing.
I have seen numerous of these cars with "impossible to fix" problems and it turned out to be a case of replacing and connecting all the vacuum hoses to their proper places and replace bleeder valves and then get the system calibrated.
Sometimes it might need a new or rebuilt throttle body and in some very few cases, a new ETS computer.
