First off, I would think you could return the car to the place they did the job. One year- two months later at the price you paid I would think there is some restitution to be had. If it leaking it could be a bad installation or bad seal. Only other reason could be is too much internal back pressure from the engine which can be due to the engine venting is restricted or excessive blow-buy from the rings which would means a rebuild, but you would notice this since the cars performance would suffer. Only in extreme cases have I seen a car with excessive crank-shaft end play which would cause the seal to wear. Usually when replacing a seal, there's a small groove that developed on the shaft that it's running against and the seal has to then be moved a small amount onto or away from the worn area. Another thing about most seals is there is a small circular spring that maintains pressure onto the seal lip of the seal. If this is dislodged from the seal upon installation, the seal will fail. Buy and oil mat for now! Good Luck!
