My '98CSE died without a peep in front of the local convenience store at 127k. My son's '95CDE (V6 but same pump) went at 121k. If you don't want to replace as a preventative measure, at least make sure you have the insert, flexible fuel hose, clamps, and spare check valves on hand. In a pinch this job CAN be done on the side of the road (ask me how I know!)
