From what I've read in past posts, 6mm seems to be the one that most pumps use. In fact, a few posts stated they had never known anyone to have used the 8mm. So since yours and mine are both '98, it should be safe to assume they'll use the same.
Also, the insert kit comes with some flexible fuel hose. Do I need to purchase any extra length of it? I guess this is what I will attach to the top/outlet of the insert and then to the original hard plastic line, using the supplied clamps. What is the donut-looking bushing for? Does the insert sit in that or does that go on top of the insert?
Any problem using the Scantech check valves? I plan on purchasing both feed and return.
