Down to the small rust spot on the rear quarter. My master plan is to first take care of all small rust just to get threw the winter and revisit in spring as I find putting fresh paint threw a winter not a good idea. When I’m ready all the exterior moldings, door handles, all lights, mirrors, window trim, ect, ect will be removed by me fore the best result possible. In the past I’ve been lucky enough to find a person or small body shop that will just prep the exterior of the car for about 500 – 700 hundred bucks, this considering that the exterior needs minimal attention when it comes to small imperfections on the metal. Then mask the car myself for again the best result possible then go to Macco and choose either a two stage paint job or something with clear coat anywhere from 500 to 1000 dollars respectably. On another note I’ve been seriously considering the viggen lightning blue color as I’m tired of black, but this would involve removing doors and more trim but not that terrible and Macco also charges more when they have to paint separate parts. I’ve got a lot of plans for my aero as I have on shelf SAS way bar kit, aeros, super aeros and three brother’s multi spoke 17 inchers to choose from and for music, navigation, DVD and mp3 entertainment a pioneer double din touch screen Avic D3.
Sorry for talking so much about my car so much but I’m just so exited about all these upgrades.
Keep those aeros and 9000s alive and modify them all you want!
