Thank you to all for the responses. I think I need to be more exact about the leak. I washed the front of engine with cleaner and blew it dry with compressed air. Made sure everything was dry. Ran the car at idle to 2500 rpm for 15 minutes. Noticed a very tiny amount of oil splashed on the side of the seal. Shut the car down and thats when I saw the oil coming from the seal to new damper/pulley mating. The new damper/pulley is throwing a very small amount of oil (4-5 drops max in 15 min) I'm 200% positive the seal lip is leaking. I installed the seal in the same spot as the old one. This shouldn't matter as the new pulley has a new seal surface. I did notice the very small groove caused by the old seal on the old pulley/damper.
I don't know about any other 9000, but with my 2.3 the seal does not contact the crankshaft.
I know my crankcase venting is working properly with a new check valve installed over a year ago. However, I do have a very small split in the oil filler cap O ring. I could not find a replacement from Eeuroparts at the time. Before I panic and start tearing into it again I will get that oil cap O ring and monitor what happens. I will post again with my findings after I get the leak straightened out.
