I seem to recall that you had an oil issue because you installed a circlip incorrectly or something. Thus the oil did not circulate as planned. Nothing has been touched on this engine in 185k. Suddenly it dives. Even if it is not fixable, it would be nice to figure out what is going on. I guess I'm either just very curious or anal. Like to know why things fail!
Open to ideas. If I get it figured out, I'll let you know. If I don't, I'll do that too.
Now, to look for another 9k or 9-5, or 9-3???....
