I got my car back from indy. In a previous post, I explained that the car had overheated while I was asleep at a rest stop. The headgasket is toast and my indy thinks the waterpump may have been the culprit. It could also be the fan, but I just replaced the rad fan switch and it was working fine for 3 months. Long story less miserable: I decided to tear down the head myself. I had some time off from work, and was in no hurry to fix this. Yesterday I find out I'm needed back at work. I'm starting today, but this will probably end up being a two weekend project. I will post my progress and issues that come up. With this board, I feel any problem I run into will be solvable.
