I'm down to removing the intake manifold and a few exhaust studs. Can I unbolt the intake manifold as one piece with FI/fuel rail and just move it back out of the way? I can see the top bolts only.

Overall, not too bad -- just alot of things to dismantle. None of my exhaust studs broke. In fact, they were almost loose! I'm off to buy a socket for the headstuds and some 13mm box wrenches. I have double and triple of every size except 13mm. Where did they go? Is it like when you lose one sock when doing laundry?

Weather permitting, I should have the head off tomorrow. By the way, the spark plugs were wet with coolant and the remaining coolant had oil in it. What's the best way to rid the cooling system of oil?
