Aeros are nice but over-rated

I'll get flamed for this, but so it goes.
I have a '96 CSE. It has an Aero suspension on it, which is hard to do these days as it's no longer available, but the big difference came from putting SAS sway bars on the car. Total transformation. Good shocks and bars, and with 16" rims and good tires you'll out-handle any stock Aero. You won't likely reach the cornering limits of the car on the road anyway.
The real difference is in the turbo and the seats, but the turbo only matters if it's a 5-speed. Otherwise 200 HP is all you get. But you can get more poke by having a remap done on the stock ECU. Or find a used Aero ECU like I've done. Aero seats are harder to come by.
Take the 5-speed CSE, do the shocks, wheels, tires and add bars. Enjoy.
