CSE auto vs. Aero auto

I've read that an Aero auto has a bigger turbo but is limited to the same HP as a CSE. What does that mean for driveability and performance? I've driven a CDE auto and found it to be quicker at low revs than my Aero, in spite of the Aero's greater HP. I liked that. I don't know if it was the gearing or the quicker spool of the smaller turbo or both.
Is there anyone who has driven both CSE and Aero automatics who can comment on how they compare driving. Is one quicker? Or is there no noticeable difference?
Considering selling the manual Aero with close to 200k miles and communication problems (ECUs won't talk to ISAT or Tech2, can't read ABS or ACC faults) and buying an auto CSE with half the mileage.
