Have one, I am going to try to solve after a quick archive search. Changed fuel pump on my '91 9Kt (to a walbro 255) over a year ago, but lately was getting a very slight smell of gas. Pulled all the stuff out of the hatch and the feed line check valve broke off in my hand. Going to try to fix with a brake flare tool. Unless anyone wants to loan, sell, rent, whatever, the proper tool, that is. Although it looks like a flare tool with a flat piece of metal on the pressing side will work fine. Would I use dialectric grease or wd-40 on the line?
You guys are great.
Steve
