The machine shop quoted me $130 to clean, pressure test and resurface the head. Where do you get a reconditioned, warrantied 2.3 cylinder head? When I talked to the local Saab indy he said he usually doesn't have to send the heads out after a blown HG, just puts in a new gasket. When he does send them out (rarely) he doesn't send them anywhere special, just to his parts store.
