Finally got the 5-spd dropped out. There is a 5/8" long x 3/8" wide hole created by a bolt that was dropped in the bellhousing during a HG job. The hole is inside the bellhousing right in front of the differential -- hence the leak. I already called Goldwing and English/Swedish in Georgia. No transmissions. If I remove the bellhousing from the the rest of the trans, can this hole be successfully welded? The transmission was rebuilt a few years ago, so I'd rather stick with what I know. Any suggestions?
