Don't over think it like others have done before you.
With a prybar with two sharp corners, carefully grab the inside of the seal/cup and pry it out. Don't let the prybar slip and score the aluminum head.
Then you just knock the new one in with a hammer and a socket that fit inside the cup.
No o-ring needed on that typ of plug. The o-ring was used on the older style aluminum plug held in place with a bracket and bolt.
